Fantastic “Let’s Get ‘Appy” Family Night!

On Tuesday night (March 31st), Cape’s technology departments watched as nearly 200 parents and students flood into the Pond Cove cafeteria. During the evening designed by Mr. Charltray, Mr. Werner and members of the capeEteam, students and their parents had the opportunity to use and explore four different iPad apps: Sight Words, 30 Hands, Skoolbo, and Addimals.

The night focused on two types of technology-enhanced learning: Gamification and Creation. Students were assigned tasks in each area that demonstrated their understanding of the apps.

Four members of the capeEteam were there to assist the Kindergarten and 1st graders and were thrilled to help facilitate what was clearly a very successful night!
